If you are looking to use treats without all the filler most have and don’t mind getting your hands a little messy your dog is going to love these. When the liver is dried it can be stored in the fridge for about a week or in an air tight container for about 3 months.

- Rinse liver in cool water.
- Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Add liver to boiling water.
- Simmer for 1/2 to 3/4 hours until well done.
- Allow liver to cool.
- Cut liver into 1/2 inch cubes.
- Spread on a foil lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 250 F for a minimum of 2 hours.
- Liver is done when dry to touch and has shrunk to approximately 1/4 inch cubes.
